Delete your account

Deleting your account is simple, immediate and final.

You can delete your Meu Radar account at any time, inside the app, without talking to anyone. If you prefer, or if you cannot sign in, ask by e-mail.

Inside the app

  1. Open Meu Radar and tap your profile.
  2. Go to Edit profile (Editar perfil) and scroll down to Delete account (Excluir conta).
  3. Type your @ to confirm. Before confirming, the app shows what will be erased.
  4. Tap Delete. The account is erased immediately; there is no waiting period and no undo.

By e-mail

If you cannot sign in to the app, write to contato@appmeuradar.com from the e-mail address or phone number registered on the account, stating your @. We may ask for an identity check before deleting.

Request deletion by e-mail

We reply within 15 days, as set out in the Privacy Policy. Deletion done inside the app is immediate.

What gets deleted

Profile, photos (public and private), Moments, stories, likes, comments, check⁠-⁠ins, place history, SOS, followers, proximity encounters, searches, visitors, calls, devices and identity verification.

Whatever also belongs to someone else is anonymized: messages you sent stay with the people who received them, without your name (“Deleted account”), and place reviews lose their author. We keep only a hash of your phone number, with no identity, for the sign-up quota and anti-fraud.

If you are the only owner of a business page, the page closes together with your account — you can transfer it to another admin first.

Before deleting, take your data with you

In Edit profile › Export my data (Exportar meus dados), the app builds a file with everything we hold about you (profile, messages, Moments, check⁠-⁠ins, searches, visits) and gives you a link valid for 7 days. You can request it once every 24 hours.
