Child safety
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Meu Radar is an app for adults. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), what we do when someone violates them and how to report.
Adults only: 18 or older
Meu Radar is intended for people aged 18 or older. Age is checked against the date of birth at sign-up, and identity verification with an official document (carried out by a specialized verifier) refuses any document showing an age under 18 and accepts a single document per account. An account identified as belonging to a minor is closed and its data deleted. Verification is mandatory for everyone: without it, the person cannot interact in the app.
We do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents. If we identify an account belonging to a minor — through verification, a report or a moderation review — it is closed and its data is deleted, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
What is prohibited
We do not tolerate any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation on Meu Radar, inside or outside the app. This includes, among others:
- posting, sending, requesting, storing or offering images, videos, text or audio that sexualize anyone under 18, whether real or generated;
- grooming, harassing or attempting sexual contact with a minor, by message, call, group or any other means;
- sextortion, trafficking and any attempt to arrange a meeting with a minor for sexual purposes;
- creating or using an account on behalf of a minor, or helping a minor get around the age verification.
These behaviors are prohibited by the Terms of Use (sections 3 and 9) and are crimes. A violation leads to immediate removal of the content, removal of the profile and a report to the competent authorities.
How to report
Anyone can report a profile, a Moment, a story, a message, a group, a place or a review, without talking to anyone. Reports are confidential: the person reported is not told who reported them.
Inside the app
- Open the menu of the profile (the three dots on the card) or of the post and tap Report. For a message, press and hold it; for a story, use the flag at the top.
- Choose the reason — for child abuse, “Underage” or “Nudity” — and, if you want, tell us what happened.
- The report is recorded with a date and a response deadline of up to 7 days; the most serious cases go to the top of the queue. You can follow its status in Edit profile › Privacy › My reports (Editar perfil › Privacidade › Minhas denúncias).
- The outcome arrives in your chat with Support (@suportemeuradar). To protect everyone, we say that action was taken, but not which measure.

By e-mail
If you do not use the app, are responsible for a child or adolescent, or represent an authority, write to contato@appmeuradar.com with the subject “Child safety”. Describe what happened and, if you know it, the @ involved.
The team responsible for safety reads every message and replies within 7 days, the same deadline as reports made in the app.
Block as well
Blocking is your decision and takes effect immediately, on the server: the connection is undone, you stop seeing each other on the radar and the person can no longer message you or request a connection — even after switching phones. Old messages are kept as evidence in case you report. You can block and report.
What moderation does
A human team receives every report in a queue ordered by deadline and severity, together with the history of the reported account. Public text (Moments, comments, reviews, bio, status) also goes through automatic classification: anything serious is removed on the spot and becomes a case for the team.
The measures, according to severity and repeat offenses: removal of the content; restriction of the profile for 24 hours to 30 days (the person cannot post, like, comment or send messages); and removal of the profile, which disappears from the radar and from search and loses access to the app. Creating another account to get around a removal is prohibited, and one identity document can verify only one account.
In cases of child sexual abuse or exploitation there is no warning and no temporary restriction: the content is removed, the profile is removed and the case is reported to the authorities. Every decision is recorded — who decided, when and why.
Laws and cooperation with the authorities
We comply with Brazilian child protection law — the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA, Law No. 8,069/1990, articles 240 to 241-E), the Brazilian Internet Civil Rights Framework (Marco Civil) and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) — and with the child safety policies of the App Store and Google Play.
We respond to court orders and legitimate requests from competent authorities and preserve the records needed for investigation. Where applicable law requires it, cases of child sexual abuse material are reported to NCMEC (the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) and, in Brazil, to the competent authorities.
If a child is in danger right now
Call the official emergency number (190 in Brazil) or Disque 100, Brazil's human rights hotline. Child abuse content online can also be reported anonymously to SaferNet Brasil. Meu Radar is not a substitute for official channels.
